The Fernie Stanford Resort would like to extend a warm welcome to your entire family, including the furry four-legged members. The resort has a number of pet friendly rooms available to ensure that the entire “family” has a comfortable stay. Guests will be provided with a “Pet in Room” door hanger upon check-in to be hung on the exterior of your entrance door. This will serve to notify our housekeeping staff that your pet is inside. We ask that all pets be on a lead while passing through hallways and lobby areas. Our pet charge is $25.00 for the first night and $10.00 for each additional night should you be staying longer

The Fernie Lodging Company has designated several Dog Friendly suites at several properties. There is a $40+tax Dog charge that covers stays from 1 - 7 days maximum. Additional charges may apply for extra cleaning or damages. As not every suite is designated dog-friendly, arrangements must be made with the company prior to arrival.

Jesse's Boarding Kennel
Boarding kennel with attached 10x8 outdoor kennel and play yard, offering 24-hour or day care. Pets are walked several times daily. Bring your pet's own food and bed, or we can provide both. No dogs will be accepted without proof of current vaccinations presented. This includes, but is not limited to, Distemper, Parvovirus, Rabies and Bordatella (or Kennel Cough). Parasite treatment is also recommended.

Open daily from 8:00-5:00 p.m., extended winter hours mid December through April. Rate is $14/day; $16/night; $25 for second family dog in same enclosure. Discounts for long term stays. After hours drop-off and pick-up can be arranged in advance for a $5.00 fee. Space is limited, early bookings are advised.
