I am looking for a dog 6 month-two years old. Must like cats, dogs and people. I would prefer a working dog cross, like a heeler,or border collie cross. I need a medium to large dog that can accompany me on walks through the bush. It must get along with my 11 year old female lab-cross and cat (and me). My pets are part of my family and are well looked after. A photo would be very welcome.

The District of Sparwood has recently found a brown male shitzu. This dog has been in the Sparwood pound for 3 days now and is in need of a good home.

Whiskas is a 20lb dark grey tabby. He is very friendly. He is missing from Mountainview trailer court in Sparwood.

This cat wandered into the Blue Toque Diner on Monday August 23. She has been vacinated and has already been spayed. She is scared and does not like other cats.

If anyone is missing this cat we have delivered her to Nelson's Second Chance Animal Shelter-the closest no kill shelter that would take her.

We have had a young tortoishell (black/brown/ginger shorthair) wandering into the Ghostrider Trading store on 2nd avenue several days lately, including Sunday Aug.22. She is looking for affection, but is quick to defend herself if approached in a treatening manner. Hopefully she has a home - does anyone recognize this description?
I would be happy to take her to a vet in Cranbrook and have her checked out and spayed, if she does have a home or if someone would adopt her.
